Martin Lunn
Kathy Hauer and Martin Lunn bring 40+ years of collective executive-level business experience to Wilson David Investment Advisors (WD). Over those careers, we procured, managed, and completed nearly $3 million in government and private sector contracts. Our years of construction experience are rounded out by MBAs from the University of South Carolina and successful mastery of FINRA’s Series 65 financial advisor exam.
Kathy is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and IRS Enrolled Agent, admitted to practice before the IRS. Her commitment to financial literacy shows in her work with WD clients and the larger community.
Martin is an investment advisor with decades of experience and knowledge in the stock and bond markets. A seasoned trader, Martin brings that knowledge and skill to his attentive management of client assets.
Kathy was one of the first women at the US Naval Academy as part of the class of 1983. Martin was an officer in the US Army. Both of us have a soft spot for returning veterans and can help you make sense of your current financial situation as you reenter civilian life.
Our financial knowledge and business experience, coupled with a skepticism born of being executive-level construction managers, have given us a realistic, practical outlook on life in general and investing specifically. We’ve tried to help as our craft workers and friends were swindled by financial scams or were charged high fees by advisors who were not transparent about their fees and were not
fiduciaries. Now that we are registered financial advisors ourselves, we’ve made it our life mission to provide an alternative to the buy-and-hold mentality of many national wealth management firms. We actively manage your money by continually scanning the markets for undervalued assets and changing conditions so that you can take advantage of opportunities when they arise and know when to protect your gains and reduce your exposure to riskier asset classes. We are committed to helping you find the best ways to save, manage, invest, and grow your money.
